The Steering System and Steering Wheel Technology Forum 2018 was held in Shanghai on 12th-13th April. As the golden sponsor, Saint-Gobain PPL shared our innovative solutions for automotive steering system and exhibited our customized products.
The steering market manager Chris NEEDES delivered a speech - “Making a big difference to responsive steering”, introducing how our materials and design can help to lighten the steering components, improve steering feeling and reduce the assembly force and noise for OEMs, thus enabling OEM and parts manufacturers to provide their customers with better driving experiences and safety.
During the forum, our critical parts that make a big difference for driving experience is exhibited - various kinds of NORGLIDE® bearings and RENCOL® tolerance rings, which were highly valued by the professional audiences and some of them even invited us to have deeper technical exchanges later on.
