Saint-Gobain Continue to Invest in China and Inaugurate its third Gypsum building plaster Plant in Changxing

Opening ceremony of Saint-Gobain Gypsum (Changxing) Co., Ltd. was successfully held in Changxing county of Zhejiang Province at 9:18 am on April 10th. The top management of Saint-Gobain Group, including Pierre-André de Chalendar, the CEO, Javier Gimeno, Senior Vice President and CEO of Asia-Pacific Region, Paul Sheng, CEO of Saint-Gobain Gyproc China, together with Axel Cruau, the French Consul General in Shanghai , Xiang Lemin, Deputy Mayor of Huzhou , Shi Yiting Deputy Secretary of CPC Committee& County Chief of Changxing, and Cai Li, Director of foreign investment management office of Commerce Department of Zhejiang witnessed the grand opening ceremony.

As part of Saint-Gobain Gypsum business in China,Saint-Gobain Gypsum (Changxing) Co., Ltd. starts the production in April this year, with an annual capacity of 460 kilo tons of new-type building materials. The new plant equipped with a state-of-the-art mixer is now becoming one of the most advanced plants of the Group.
