Paris Call for the Climate brings together more than 1,200 non-state stakeholders with the same commitment: contribute to the implementation of the Paris Agreement following COP21 and rapidly make the necessary changes to deal with the effects of climate change.
Saint-Gobain joined the signatories of this appeal because it is committed to the rapid reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and adapting to climate change impacts. Saint-Gobain is also one of the 100 companies that have signed up to the Global Compact’s “Caring for Climate” initiative and which champions carbon pricing. As early as January 2016, Saint-Gobain introduced an internal carbon price to help steer its investment actions and R&D projects aimed at cutting the Group’s carbon emissions.
